In 1953, Mr André Dupont, the son of Mr Simon Tissot Dupont, created the brand's first ladies' handbag, the Riviera, for Audrey Hepburn. The bag was presented as a limited edition and featured a secret compartment. Like the original icon, the updated Riviera also features a secret pocket hidden in the lining of the bag, which is secured by a ‘lighter padlock’ adorned with the brand's iconic guilloché diamond head. The bag is distinguished by its new ‘off white’ colour, a magnificent off-white with a light gold finish. Made in Italy, this bag combines soft, smooth full-grain calf leather on the outside and a full-grain cowhide lining with an adjustable strap for versatile style. The leather used is LWG certified.
